According to the New York Post, the dean of higher earning was Donald Ross, who took home $5.7 million--most in deferred compensation after......

Sumpter headed to 22 Clifton Place, a brownstone in renovation; a witness told the Post that Sumpter tripped and his pursuer "just got over him and emptied [his gun]." Another woman told......

Wow. The NY Times reports that Broken Angel owners Arthur and Cindy Wood have agreed to (1) dismantle part of the roof at 4 Downing Street and (2) to "share ownership [of the building] with a local developer, Shahn Andersen, who would turn most of the building into condominiums." Broken Angel would have living and studio for the Woods, plus "some form of community space." While Arthur Wood, who designed the building, would have......

Gothamist appreciates the stuff of museums and galleries, from high-class high art to wacky conceptual installations. But we have to admit we like it best when designers work their magic on common objects, making our daily tasks simpler and more interesting. Through the end of the month, you can catch Corvettes to Cuisinarts: Six Decades of Diversity in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute's Manhattan Gallery. The exhibit features furniture, appliances, jewelry, toys and a wide......

The best quote from the......
