The Chronicle of Higher Education released its annual salary survey of the heads of educational institutions and the value of a college education is evidenced in the paychecks being cashed by institutions' presidents. More than a dozen heads of private universities took home more than $1 million during the 2005-06 school year. Yesterday morning, Sara Robbins, a law professor and head of the library at Brooklyn Law School, was killed by a private trash truck at Montague and Henry Streets in Brooklyn Heights. The 54 year old Robbins was headed to work and had been crossing the street around 6:15AM when the truck hit her as it turned south.
