Flatiron Chef Arrested For Alleged Halloween Sexual Assault

A chef at the penthouse lounge 230 Fifth was arrested on Halloween after allegedly forcing himself on a Canadian woman dressed as a sexy lion. As the club's party was winding down at 3 a.m. on Sunday, 28-year-old Carlos Angel "pounced" on the woman as she came out of a restroom and shoved her back inside, sources say. He kissed her repeatedly while groping her, but she managed to slip away and alert a manager—who actually did the right thing by calling the police, not trying to hush it up!

Hofstra Student Who Made Up Rape Story "Likely" To Face Charges

Nearly a week after an 18-year-old Hofstra student claimed that five men raped her in a dormitory bathroom—only to later admit the story was fake—the freshman may face charges for her lies, which put four of the "suspects" behind bars for two days.

Corner Bistro "Victim" and Owner Respond, Confusion Abounds

While many have been insinuating that Nick Haramis is nothing more than a burger-eating boy who cried wolf, Grub Street reports that following an internal investigation the owner has decided to suspend the alleged gay-bashing employee even though he questions Haramis's claims.

The 24-year-old who says five police officers sodomized him with a police walkie-talkie last week spoke to the Daily News from his hospital bed. Michael Mineo, who was re-hospitalized, said, "The cops did this to me... I'm in so much pain... I've got pus coming out of me, man. I need help!" And the NY Post has photographs of Mineo being visited by the Reverend Al Sharpton, who called for an investigation into the matter and compared it to the Abner Louima incident.
