The tabloids caught up with former three-time All-Star Lenny Dykstra yesterday after he settled a lawsuit from an accounting firm which claimed Dykstra didn't pay almost $140,000 in accounting fees. Dykstra said the firm "folded like Mitch Williams in the ninth" and added, "There was no case. There was nothing"--all while chomping on Twizzlers. Last night was the star-studded, couture-clad Costume Institute Gala at the Met; the theme was "superheroes," to accompany the museum's latest Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibit. J. The New York Rangers Sean Avery was released from the hospital yesterday, just in time to attend the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala tonight!
