TV Quote of the Day
Although the extremely gross clip of Glenn Beck propositioning an US Weekly writer on CNN was amazing, it's too awkward for us to enjoy. So our vote for the best line on TV yesterday is from 30 Rock.
One of the plotlines was "Jack (Alec Baldwin) forces Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to attend The Source Awards." Oh, the sitcom wackiness! Naturally, Tracy refuses to go to the Source Awards, because of its history of controversy, and says:
"Shooting people at the Source Awards is a tradition. It's like Christmas! Or shooting people outside of Hot 97!"Heh! Also awesome was the mention of MC Skat Kat.
Remember when 50 Cent and The Game had that beef that included a shooting outside Hot 97? The NYPD even put up a surveillance camera outside their offices while Hot 97's landlord tried to kick them out.

i saw tracy morgan on jimmy kimmel this week (wednesday maybe?) and he seemed wasted. like really wasted. it was hilarious though, but also a little like life imitating art.
anyone else notice this?
Well it does come with the territory ! Go to the Source Awards get shot ! Go to the Hot97 Offices for an on-air interview and get shot on the way out of the building . If I were Tracy Morgan I would touch that with a twenty foot pole ! Besides, The guy has a career to worry about .
(1) I dont think he was drunk, he just acts like that.
(2) I think you're getting TV land and reality confused here, the quote was from the show; no actual dangers of Tracy being shot.
Tracy was on Conan and all I kept thinking was him getting into his "stabbing robot" act.
30 Rock is too funny, lez lemon.
This is ridiculous, no, I'm ridiculous.
Now I gotta go channel Oprah and drink some JD estates sparkling wine.
