Video of the Day: The Bourne Ultimatum Filming in NY
First the Brooklyn Bridge was shut down for Will Smith's new movie, I Am Legend, and now Matt Damon is causing some traffic by the Lincoln Tunnel. We hear the scene was a big 'ol mess with some pretty impatient travelers and commuters on Friday, and in the midst of the chaos stood Damon. This is for the latest of The Bourne Identity films, The Bourne Ultimatum (the last shot of The Bourne Supremacy was filmed on Third and 48th). It seems filming was also happening by the UN on Friday, as shown in the above video.
Earlier this month filming was going down in Berlin, and some New Yorkers have been playing paparazzi since the cast and crew have rolled into town. Has anyone else caught any of the action?

how are they going to re-create that dirty ny snow if they need a reshoot?
They are filming in the office building where I work for the next 3 days. West 40th btwn 6th and B'way.
I saw trailers and permits on 8th Ave. between Penn Station and the Port Authority on Friday afternoon, but no actual filming there.

There was a crew set up all Sunday at the Bronx County Courthouse on the Grand Concourse and 161st. A PA told my friend that they would only be filming for the one day.
Ditto on the crew setup at the Bronx County Courthouse. They started set construction on Friday in the Veterans Memorial Hall, and the crew was buzzing around the building like bees.

Is this off Sutton place by 52nd? The two green awnings look familiar...
I saw them filming some background stuff on UN Way last week, and in some building just off Times Square at night. (massive movie day-light beaming in through a window)
They're on 40th and Broadway right now!

They're also filming on 38th between 7th and 8th Ave. They put some sort of fake snow on the street and changed the street signs on 38th and 8th to say W. 41st and 8th.

Yes they are. I just walked by and saw them shooting a scene with Damon and Allen.

they're getting ready to film on 48th and 3rd ave. yep, the same last scene from the bourne supremacy.
They are filming down near my apartment. I saw the trailers at Rector & Greenwich St. I hear they are closing down the streets around St. Patty's day.
Today they were on 7th Ave, from 25th to 28th St filming car crash scene. I saw Damon.
