Obligatory Arcade Fire Post: 2.5 Weeks til NYC

February is just around the corner, which means a work week of Arcade Fire shows is coming up. The band played two "secret" shows in Montreal over the past week, and thanks to YouTube, we all get a sneak peak of what we might see at the church.

Check out that neon bible on stage! Their new LP, Neon Bible, comes out this March. The question is, will they play a secret New York show during their stay in February? We have it on good authority that they will be indeed.

Other Arcade Fire news over the past few weeks: the band put out a commercial for their new cd, were personally answering their Neon Bible hotline, these people would probably be interested in knowing about their "church tour" (via) and, uh, lead singer Win Butler appears to have gotten a hair cut.

More footage from the secret shows in Canada here and here.
