Unless you've been under a rock (or perhaps out of the country for the last week or so), you've probably seen all the hooplah about this fall's upcoming culinary offerings. New York Mag was first on the scene with their fall preview issue, followed closely by the New York Times (offering "sooner" and "later" openings), and Andrea Strong. Here are some of the spots we're the most excited to try:

- Gordon Ramsey comes to New York: Gordon Ramsay at the London NYC, 151 W. 54th St., near. Seventh Ave.; November.

- Jody Williams, formerly of Gusto teams up with Keith NcNally in an Italian venture at Morandi, 15 Charles St.; November.

- Akhtar Nawab, previously at Craftbar, opens his own spot, featuring seasonal American cuisine with Mediterranean influences at Allen & Delancey, 115 Allen St., at Delancey St.; October.

- More Blue Ribbon! This time in bar form, serving a selection of wines, sakes, cordials, and cognacs alongside small plates of tartares and smoked meats and fish. Blue Ribbon Bar, 34 Downing St., near Bedford St.; October.

- Fr.og & P*ong: apparently visually confusing names are in for Jean Georges alums. Fr.og actually stands for French Origin, brought to us by Didier Virot, who formerly worked with Jean Georges, featuring French-influenced cooking of Morocco, Lebanon, and Vietnam (and, of course, France). In addition to the regular dining space, there will bar seating for ten surrounding the open kitchen. 71 Spring St., near Lafayette St.; November. P*ong is the latest from pastry chef Pichet Ong, who will open a small spot in the West Village serving small plates (both sweet and savory), wines, drinks, cheeses, and desserts galore. Cocktails will be "styled" by Yvan Lemoine of iFood Studios. 150 West 10th Street; November.
