-Some NYU kids, angry about unfair DRM on their music, took to the streets, er, the Virgin Megastore.
-The troubles at Brooklyn Tech continue.
-After a very long time the FDNY reached a tentative contract with the city this week.
-The mother in that gruesome family suicide wrote a note warning her own mother.
-Cirque du Soleil may be getting a theater in New York.

-The prestigious Breeders' Cup Horse Race at Belmont is going on right now (on NBC). Interestingly the first three races were all won by jockeys winning their first ever Breeders' Cup races.

After Principal Tobin left and McCaskill took over back in 91/92, things have been going downhill on a steady basis. The BoE should remove McCaskill and put someone in charge that will work to bring the school back to its former glory.
