Gap's Virtual Stripper

Just in time for the holiday shopping season (Gothamist hears it's starting even earlier these days) and in case you don't have $241,000 to blow on Scores, Gap has introduced Watch Me Change, or as we like to think of it - a virtual stripper. While you're supposed to be creating yourself so you can see what their outfits look like, we quickly realized there's no fun in that. "You" dance around in your underwear after you take off your frumpy clothes and before you put on your fun new look! And there's no one to tell you if your ass looks fat!
After doing a little research (WhoIs lookup), we found out the agency behind the virtual stripper is Cripsin Porter & Bogusky, the same agency behind BK's Subservient Chicken which has become such a success that you can be one for Halloween.

it should be noted that we're all about stripping today at gothamist.
where's the hot coffee mod to this thing?
I'd like a hot coffee mod for that Jess Coen picture! By the way, why weren't comments enabled for that item?
for the obvious reason-- they would have gotten completely out of hand. and people tend to say disgusting things on a post like that.
nice to see that someone made a recreation of jen.
anyone notice that there was no comments option on the jessica coen nipple-gate post? whats up with that gothamist?
i'm guessing i'm not the only one who would have like a chance to say something about that.
I just asked that 3 posts above you! (and Jake answered right away) Too bad...I would've liked to have read comments on that, on a slow Friday at work.
I bought stock in GAP last year and it has completely tanked, off 30% in over a year.
Crispin's got some weird, possibly illegal/unethical ideas about marketing. Slate had a column about them.
