I too have enjoyed Black Pearl and kind of dig the restaurant inside a bar concept, but I'm not sure how much longer it is going to be in the East Village. Last week there was a Craigslist ad for a full staff--manager, bartenders, cooks, etc...in Park Slope.
oh my god! they better not move before i get back to new york. i would nearly kill for a lobster roll, though i'm slightly less keen on shlepping to an outer borough.

I bet, I hope, they are not serving real Ipswich clams. I am immediately wary of this place.
God, I hope it's better than Pearl Oyster Bar - that place was terrible. I've had better lobster rolls at the local fish shack up here in Connecticut.
