Chirimoya is a fruit from Colombain Andes mountains.
Mostly found traveling on the side of the road, when traveling from Bogotá to any town in the state of Boyacá.
I must say that the ones cultivated in the usa are no where near the amazing taste of the Andes original. A must try some day if possible in Boyacá, or anywhere in Colombia. And if you are fond of fruits like we are in Colombia you can start by reading this book: Delicious Tropical Fruits
