Jon Stewart at Borders Columbus Circle Tomorrow

2004_09_jonstewart.jpg

Jon Stewart has been making the media rounds to promote his new book (with The Daily Show), The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (The Book) : A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction. He was on Leno last night, showing that the Television Academy even enough to give him two Emmys for some extra publicity. But the best book-push related feature we've seen is his 10 Questions with Times magazine:
WRITING A BOOK IS SO RETRO. SHOULDN'T YOU BE BLOGGING OR SOMETHING?
I can't. It's too hip. Then I'd have to get a BlackBerry, and I'm wired in, and next thing you know, I'm at a Black-Eyed Peas concert with a crack problem. I just can't go down that road.
It is so true about being at a Black-Eyed Peas concert with a crack problem. And it's great that Time realizes that blogging is unretro, especially since it only discovered blogs this past summer.

Jon will be at the Columbus Circle/Time Warner Center Border tomorrow at 8PM to read from and sign copies of the book. He'll most likely bring the funny.

The correct URL for the Borders signing is

http://upcoming.org/event/8730/

Also, the magazine is "Time," not "Times."

I just had a strange thought.

Is Jon Stewart the most unanimously loved person in the bloggerverse?

we don't all agree on politics or music or art, but we all love to laugh, right?

he and chappelle and maybe will ferrell - they are the top of the food chain when you think about it.

If this book is 1/100th as good as his last one, I'll be very happy with it. I shall pick it up down here in Philly shortly.
