Saw these on ThinkGeek.com a week or so ago.
They have a Video of it in action
If those robots could talk, they would do as much as some people I see at school.
I saw them pushing these at 72nd & CPW on Saturday. I think there was someone dressed up in a 8' (or thereabouts) tall costume likeness, too. Now, that's a sucky job on a humid day (it was humid at the time, anyway).
There was someone in the big robot costume where I saw them and took these photos (43rd and Fifth Avenue). It just got cropped out of the photos here.
I just bought one of these on Friday!
ohhh I want one!
$64 if you can manage to convince yourself to leave the city and go to a Costco.
Thank you Gothamist for shilling more press release junk!
Robots are evil and should be destroyed. I'm not kidding. One day they will rise up against their human masters and enslave us all.
But probably not these 'Fluent in international caveman' extended-battery-life ones, right?
