Easter Weekend in NY

Cerntral Park Easter Egg Hunt; Photo - AP

There will be some serious egg action tomorrow at Central Park. The festivities start at 11AM tomorrow, with petting zoos, egg-dyeing, egg on a spoon, and three-legged races. But the very best news is that the PEEPS FUN BUS is coming to Central Park, with Peeps crafts and the like! Peeptastic!

More information from the Parks Department. There is also the Easter Parade on Sunday, starting at 11AM, and with that, traffic is affected.

I got to go through the Peeps Fun Bus last year in PA at Musikfest, and it was pretty cool. They had Peeps for everything. Plus, they give them out like they're going out of style. My teeth hurt for days.

You know, I read this story as well as the Slate story (http://slate.msn.com/id/2098422/) on Peeps earlier. A little bit later, I hit a sweet craving and found myself thinking, "you know what would be tasty right now? Some PEEPS!!!" Yes, I guess I really am that impressionable, but I smell conspiracy!

Best quote from the Peeps website:

"Drew Carrey, Drew Barrymore and Al Roker most resemble Peeps. Martha Stewart, President Bush and Brittany Spears are most in need of a Peep!"
