Bill Will Be Killed Later

Uma Thurman wants to kill; Photo - Miramax

We should have known: Miramax's (assy) decision to release Kill Bill in two parts gets another twist. Vol. 2, originally scheduled to be released next month, will be delayed, according to Variety (registration required), for at least two months. It may be delayed till May if Miramax wants to bring the film to Cannes, as the festival's organizer would love for KB V2 to open the event. Other reasons may include Vol. 1 going to video on April 13 (bigger bang) and the fact that there's still post production on Vol. 2.

For Gothamist, Kill Bill Vol. 1 was all right (the only good part was the anime sequence in Japan); there were some moments of brilliance, but it dragged. Shoulda been one movie.

personally i am not gonna pay money to see the second vol so it doesn't matter to me how long they delay its release. i thought the first one was blegh... the fight choreography could've been done better and the goriness was just over done.

Absolute agreement. It should have been one movie, but Harvey Weinstein doesn't think Americans have the attention span to sit for more than three hours of high action. The ass.

Ah crap. I loved Kill Bill Vol 1 and was counting down the days until Vol 2.

People who watch Network TV have no right to criticize QT.

you have got to be fucking kiding, honestly, if you think lost in translation is better than kill bill. seriously. do youall really, honestly think lost in translation is better? i know the redundancy is killing this post but come the fuck on. i can't accept a forgetable move like LOST beats a movie that won't be forgotten like KILL. i swear i fucking love youall.

I totally agree that it should have been just one movie. I think Peter Jackson proved that people will watch a long movie if it's good. Kill Bill feels like it ends in the middle of a story. I think that was a big big mistake. I'm sure I'll still see Kill Bill 2 when it comes out, but I'm not that excited about it.

I feel like I'm being Lucased here.

Huh? It dragged, but you thought it shoulda been one movie? I don't get that.

eh gothamist is a great read but they liked the second matrix and that second jackie chan/owen wilson crapfest...

There shouldnt b n e more haters commenting about Kill Bill vol.1 bcoz it waz 1 of the best peices of work for 03! I saw it 2wice in the 1 weekend.
Everything about was really well done.
I'm sure Vol.2 will b even betta. :D

Kill Bill vol.1 fucking owned! And I'm sure vol. 2 will be equally awsome. For those of you too small minded to be able to understand its brilliance.... tis a shame

I agree ashman! I also thought kill bill was a very good movie. It was a very refreshing movie to see because of how creative it was. It reminded me of a well done live action anime. The whole movie was just plain "cool"! one of the best of the year!
