Sam Waterston TV Commercial
TD Waterhouse has passed their spokesperson torch from from Law & Order crotchety Executive District Attorney portrayer, Steven Hill, to Law & Order current District Attorney, Jack McCoy, aka Sam Waterston!
Here, he's looking casual, in a sweater, versus the suits we usually see him in, stepping into a TD Waterhouse location to tell you why they are a good option for...something...Gothamist was distracted by thinking about what Jerry Orbach could shill. Probably, hair pomade, hot dogs, or security systems.

Re:AdAge.com--it's not the poor man's AdCritic, it's just the website for trade magazine Advertising Age. That said, the Ad Age group owns AdCritic.com, but you do have to pay to use it, unlike AdAge.com.
Sam lives in Chelsea, because he's been seen at Whole Foods a lot and at the Barnes and Noble on 6th and 21st, too. Gothamist blalks Sam Waterston!
They should enjoy the ad contract before TDW gets sold to Charles Schwab.

And as for Charles Schwab buying TD Waterhouse... huh? Where do you get that from?
The talk is that TDW is on Schwab's shopping list of companies to buy, since it would allow them to further "leverage the recovery" (get accounts on the books to help cover fixed asset expenses of running a discount brokerage.)

I think I saw John Rothman in that ad, also. Most people remember him as the librarian in Ghostbusters, but he was also in three L&O episodes (most notably as a defendant who was stealing money to give to Israel). Can anyone confirm or deny?
