What to do on Halloween

Artwork from It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown - Charles M. Schulz

The Post lists what New Yorkers can do this Halloween in the city, ranging from various parties at night clubs (Avalon, Maritime Hotel, Suede) and churches (St. John the Divine) to dog parades...even a call to your dentist.

Of course, the number one pick is the Village Halloween Parade, in its 30th year. And the grand marshal this year? Why, Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors. But, after some scary incidents, Gothamist will probably try to avoid the Village parade and stick to ODing on candy that small child-sized neighbors tend to pass up because Gothamist's floor in the building doesn't have enough neighbors participating in trick-or-trest to make a visit worthwhile. Bah boo.

A Halloween favorite: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. You can research Charles M. Schulz some more.
