NYPD Dragnet for Granny Mugger
Showing that the NYPD really hates cowards who punch out and mug elderly women with walkers, the entire police force is on alert to find the man who mugged two Queens seniors. Over 25,000 police officers have seen the video and there are "several dozen detectives assigned to the case," according to Newsday. Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne explained, "Considering the brutality of the attacks, and the fact the women appeared to be targeted because of their age and fragility, the Police Department is paying special attention to the case." He also said, "It's a vicious attack for a small amount of money." Indeed - the total haul was $65.
The police department is worried the attacker will strike again. The detectives have expanded the investigation and are checking out bigger streets beyond the housing complexes where 101-year-old Rose Morat and 85-year-old Solange Elizee live. Morat's attack was caught by a surveillance camera, which show her being punched multiple times. Elizee, whose wedding ring and late son's ring were also stolen, said, "I am lucky I got away with my life."
City Councilman Thomas White Jr. is offering a $1,000 reward for information that will lead to the suspect's capture. He told the Sun, "This just rubbed me so wrong because I have a mother. I don't want to give a thought of my mother getting punched." Exactly - and that's why some readers have inquired where to donate to the reward pool. We're looking into it!

now, normally i'm not in favor of police brutality, but would you really fault a cop for roughing up this piece of shit? i mean, does anyone really expect that they should take extra care to make sure he doesn't smash his head when he's thrown in the back of the squad car???

I hope the wedding ring had some kind of engraving, or identifying mark. And I hope every pawnshop owner in the area knows about it. Someone needs to call out to them to help catch this creep. You know he's going to try to pawn that ring eventually.
They are not going to find him, or they will just pull a random black off the street and convict him. The CCTV images dont have enough detail to make any 1 person recognizable out of them, all the CCTV images show is his height and that he is black, which can be anyone. The camera quality is crap, period, its pointless to look at the tape.
I have this theory that black people do this so they don't have old people sitting with them on the subway or bus. I was on this bus yesterday and had a small empty seat and this black guy had 4 empty seats next to him. A old white lady gets on the bus. Looks at me and looks at the black guy with his huge expanse and sits next to me and my small crevice. Man, being black on the bus has it's perks, meanwhile I had to smell ben gay and old lady smell for ten blocks.
Remember the lady with the wheelchair who had a gun and shot her theif? More old people should carry weapons..
Apparently this guy just turned himself in for psychiatric treatment...
